the Sunday @dventure...

all geared up to go for our exciting trekking trip at MacRitchie but it din not happen because of the drizzle.. we were disappointed cos we were both so hyped up abt gog, abt exercising. so plan b came up after much tot... we decided to catch Charlie n the Chocolate Factory.

it was a long journey to buy the tix. We missed the earlier show so we dcd to head down to cine to check out their time slots but it turned out to be later than lido, so we walked all the way back again. i think we completed abt a quarter of wat we were supposed to for trekking. but the catching up along the way was pleasant. :) updating each other abt our lives and just chit chat.

the show turned out to be enjoyabe even though there were negative comments abt it. after the show, we were still talking abt the scenes. johnny depp is way cool. i think he's a good actor, able to bring out the personality of willy wonka. and i particularly like the idea of the candy garden, where you can eat anything from it, the grass, the plants and drink from the chocolate river. haaa....

as predicted, we went to our 'fav' meal place, sakae sushi... haven been there for ages cos i found a better place. hehe... but anyway, it was just like the good old times, ordering the same dishes.

soon after, we headed to h's home and to the void deck where we met him... we din know wat's his name was so i came up with a silly name: gou gou. hehe... that's how i address dogs in general. he is too cute to resist. who would be so cruel to abandon such a cutie like him? Though he is big, he is lovable. moreover, being a golden retriever, he's so obedient.

herng was contemplating abt bringing gou gou home cos her parents already signalled their disapproval about bringing an abandoned dog home. but deep down, i know she will still bring him home. finally, she decided to bring him back for the nite and ring up the spca pple the next day. So, our 'dog smuggling' journey began. we only managed to get him onto the car with the help of the heartlanders. i will not forget that scene when all of them waved goodbye to us and wished us good luck. thankfully, he was really obedient, sat throughout the car journey only rising up when the car stops at the junctions.

if it was back in the student days, i would have stayed over at her house, to help settle gou gou the next day. but i cant even though i would love to. i hope gou gou will be happy settling down at his new environment. :) would love to see him again.

wat a wonderful sunday!!
