something we do everyday - WAIT

watched a show last nite and it triggered some tots...
everyone is waiting in life. Waiting for someone, waiting for something ... in short we are just waiting....

waiting for the bus/mrt to arrive
waiting for the day to end (esp for working adults)
waiting to grow up or see their kids grow up
waiting for the page to load up
waiting for the traffic light to turn green
waiting for friends to turn up for the appointment
waiting for a call/sms
waiting to go for a holiday
waiting for exams to be over
waiting for the right job to come along
waiting for that someone
waiting to enter into another phase in life
waiting to fulfill that unaccomplished dream
the list goes on and on...

Of course, along the wait, we enjoy the process as well though it's not all the time. Often, we may get impatient and at times we may think that the wait is not worthwhile.

So, what are you waiting for? As I was thinking thru, I realise that i'm part of this waiting process. I'm waiting for a hopeful future, a glorious one. sometimes i may think will it happen? but His words assure me that it will. And so i wait...

Countdown to working life

3 more days and i'll commence work life.
I cant believe it. I'm starting work on friday. Sooo fast.... no more time to chuo bo already. And i'm going to learn new things in life. No longer can i call myself a student and enjoy student's benefits. hm... i guess it would take me some time to get used to.

I pray that even as i embark on a new phase of life, i would still keep my focus on Jesus. In every aspects in life, He will take the centre stage. Also, that i wld enjoy my job and not dread going to work each day. :)

Holidaying away...

Wow... it's been so long since i last blogged. I think it's about 2 months.
So many things happened during this period. I was having a great 2 months of hols.
Have been thankful that i was able to go thailand, australia and of course, all the camps in between.

At Khao Lak, we were travelling from one place to the other in "song tiao". And most of the time, we are packed like sardines. The expedition wasn't really like an expedition. We were well taken care of and i guess we all enjoyed the icy cold water after working under the hot sun. Hope to go back to Khao Lak next time to see what it has become. :)
